We love our new Vytex Fortis windows and had a great experience with Don and his crew. I really struggled to find affordable windows and got some unreasonable quotes from other companies. I didn't trust the quality of the windows or the installation from the big box stores. Luckily I stumbled upon American Made Windows of the Upstate in an online search and they were nice enough to make the somewhat long trip out to work with us. Don gave us a quote that was within our price range and his installation crew (of two) was able to replace all of our windows in two days without leaving a mess.

Those guys always do a great job. Every time they came out to my property very professional and understanding. That's why I always use them for installment and repair. Folks! Call them.

The crew did a great job getting the windows in quickly and picked up afterwards. Very happy with the experience and would recommend highly. We had 18 windows put in and they had to remove the siding to get them in correctly. All the windows were sealed with tape and caulked.

We had a really great experience with this company. We needed our sunroom windows replaced and from the first call to this company, we were impressed. The workers arrived promptly, worked from 8:30 am til 7:30 pm and were able to finish the entire project in one day! The owner personally came out to oversee the project and made sure it was done correctly. The windows are beautiful, and we couldn’t be more pleased. We highly recommend this company to anyone who needs new windows. You will not be disappointed.

Very pleased with our windows from this company. Don is the nicest, least pushy dude you'll ever talk to. They did the install while we were on vacation, so it was really awesome to get back and admire the handiwork. I'm a DIYer and was preparing for the worst, but they really did a great job. I have nothing I can point to and say "see, that's why, if you want something done right, do it yourself" The ONLY possible criticism I would say is that we found about half a dozen nails here and there, from the old windows being hauled out. Thankfully my children found them with their eyes and not their feet. I can't imagine what it was like to haul 25 fifty year old windows out of my house, but if that's the only evidence I can find of the work, then I'd say that's a pretty dang thorough clean up. Literally, no dust, no scuffs, no dirt in the house, just fresh, white, cleeeeaaan lookin windows. They did it without removing our plantation shutters, which I don't know what kind of wizardry made that possible. I included some before-and-after photos. I would 100% recommend. We Love our big beautiful picture windows. They were so ratty and precarious before. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change anything.

We just had our windows replaced by American Made Windows of the UpstateU in Aug. 2023. We are very pleased with our overall experience. Firstly, Don gave us an honest quote upfront unlike another company we spoke to that quoted above the average and then were "magically" able to come down in price $2,000. We appreciated the honesty and affordability that Don offered from the beginning. It only took about a month and a half for our windows to come in which was pretty timely, all things considered. No complaints! We were extremely happy with our installers, David and Mark. These two young men did a very fine job. They replaced 13 of our windows in one day. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards as well. We are very happy with their politeness and attention to detail. I think the communication leading up to the installation could have been better, but it certainly does not change how happy we are with the work completed. I just had my new windows installed almost two months ago. The entire frames are insulated so it seriously cut down on the noise from outside. I can finally sleep without hearing dogs barking. Plus, my power bill dropped significantly. We replaced old wood windows and I never should have waited so long to do it. Richard installed them, and it was a very professional job. The windows are beautiful. This is a great family company!!

If you need new windows, come to American Made Windows. These guys were pros. Honest, quick to review/measure all the windows and offer a great price. They are not here to offer you windows twice your budget then give you a “marketing discount” to put a sign in your yard. No hour long presentation to suck in your time. They’re not salesman, they run a business and a damn good one. I cannot understate the value and class this team provides. Everyone leaves reviews for things they don’t like. It’s time for the good guys to get a slice of the pie. BUY WINDOWS HERE!

From start to finish they were excellent! I previously had a hard time getting companies to come out to meet with me, as I am not the homeowner. My father is not in good health and was unable to meet at their secondary home for the quote. American Made not only came out to quote with me, but made the trip to my father's house to have the contract signed. Then the installers did a great job, professional and positive. A great experience all around.

The team was very knowledgeable, offered me a solution that was in my price range, and were responsive. Despite the delays that occurred for manufacturing, the team kept me informed, and had the windows installed as soon as the windows came in to the company. I would use them again.

Don was very professional and helpful in all aspects from initial interest to installation. We decided to replace all the windows and so glad we did. The crew did a great job and answered all my questions. Windows look great and we are well pleased with how everything turned out. It took a while for the windows to come in due to supple chain issues but definitely pleased with the final product.

Don and his team went above and beyond. I went through 9 quotes (it was painful) from all the Window installers in the area. His price was on point, and the quality of the Vytex Fortis is up there with some of the best in the industry. Family owned and operated small local business, as well as the installation crew (and they service the windows too). We are using them on our Rental property since they did such a great job. I highly recommend, and will use again on any future properties. Do yourself a favor, go for the Fortis - My nest went from a 2.5 hour run time down to 45 minutes to cool a couple degrees in my home. (Replaced original wood windows from 1982)

Greatest customer service ever received, making the entire process easier then I ever imagined. Pam and Don are very respectful, patient and helpful. I love my Okna Windows! My home no longer has the cold drafts and much quieter than my old windows when it comes to the neighbors dogs. Best of all, we have noticed the heat and air doesn't come on as often as before.

Could not have any negative comments if I hunted for them. The only thing I would change was mostly my fault as I did not speak to both people involved to see if we were all on the same page. But even with that, Don put it so it was in my favor and regulated to surpass my expectations.

I live in Florida and needed windows on a nice rental property. I don't have time to go back and forth and I mean by telephone also. I just wanted it done, done right, end of story. I called Don at Americam Made Windows. I told him what I wanted. We reviewed the order once before ordering. Don informed me of the time that it would take for the windows to be ready. He called when they arrived which was very approximate to the time he told me. He informed my tenant and worked with her. Bam, everything was done, including clean-up. Job finished. Don then sent me pictures. Wow,the windows popped and really changed the look of the house. Don did everything that he said he would do and did it correctly. You don't see that everyday. At least, unfortunately , I don't. Thank you Don for a job well done. And lets not forget about Pam who answered the phone. Yes, someone answers the phone, before and after the job. Imagine that! I'm sorry, I was just really impressed with being treated like a human being. I could get in touch with Don anytime I wanted to, but I got the impression from Pams very, very nice but also professional attitude that she can tell you anything you need to know. She was great. We had damage to our roof, gutters, ceiling in our living room and dining room areas due to a hail storm that came through our area. We had to have our roof replaced, gutters replaced and ceiling repaired and painted. I am so happy with choosing Don's team at American Made Windows. The roofing crew took care of my roof in one day! They tarped around my home to catch any debris and I watched as they picked up any stray nails that may have fallen. They showed up on time, worked until the job was finished and cleaned up after themselves. I love my new roof! The painter did an excellent job repairing the damaged ceiling and painting. He was very professional and you can't even tell there was a problem with the ceiling now! The gutter team came and installed the new gutters and they were also very good at their job. I could not be more pleased.

The owner was very nice and easy to deal with. They gave us a great price. They were a little busy and it took a while to get finished with the project but the work was very good.

Shopped around all the usual sources for this window. Since it was an unusual size for a double hung and I wanted it to fit in the existing casing, I didn't go to the 'big box' store. American Made Windows of the Upstate as easy the most reasonable option Their salesperson, Don, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Totally profession, accommodating to my schedule. He followed up promptly to all communications. There was one glitch, the unit was delivered with a 1/2 instead of a full screen. After the installation, I called Don. He immediately ordered the replacement and personally installed. I'd do business with American Made Windows of the Upstate again and would recommend them to anyone ... and ask for Don.

Replaced builder grade windows with energy saving Low E-3 vinyl windows, and now that summer has arrived (July), I can now report that these windows played a tremendous part in making my unbearable hot bedroom, into a much cooler and comfortable room, and not just the my bedroom but in all of the upstairs, Hats Off to American Windows, and thanks for recommending the energy saving windows.

Don was fantastic - knowledge, follow up with men on the job. Kim and his men were outstanding work study for 8 hours and got our beautiful windows installed in one day seems like a very good windows and good installation job and Don had all the answers what sold us other than Don, it was having the showroom store. We tell everyone about our windows. We had 12 windows installed.

The company is prompt, friendly and does a terrific job. When job is complete in a timely manner, all windows and debris are taken away. We replaced 16 windows in stages, 9 the first time and 7 the second time. I would refer them to my friends.
